COOKIE MONSTER….

•June 1, 2010 • Leave a Comment

So. Life. AHH.

I’ve had an interesting week. Expo is ovvverr thank gawd. French final is Thursday, then algebra final monday…then OFF TO QUEBEC CITY!! Yeeeahhh. Haha. Hopefully Canada will have aired out by then. Our last gym class is this week (ohemgeeee) and the last chorus meeting was today. Yup, I cried. (teehee).
This week is spirit week, so I’m showing my CCS spirit. If that even exists. Today was crazy hair/hat day, and I took what was supposedly Cam’s hat…but ended up being my bestie Eli’s. xD. I still have it, actually. It has the cookie monster on it. YAY! Lutz shaved his beard like a cowboy and wore a checkered shirt and a cowboy hat. Tomorrow is pyjama day. I’m going to wear pyjama shorts and my limited edition pink snuggie. Then mismatched day, (soo not participating) and then….wait for it….80s DAY!!! I am reallyreally excited for that….because it was partially my idea. Plus, who doesn’t love 80s stuff?
Tonight I’m going out to dinner with my mom, then GLEE!!! Hopefully Belle and I can text…cause for some reason our phones aren’t “compatible.” xD.

Sooo….byeee!!!

Hello, Again.

•May 24, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Goodness. So much as happened in the past two months since I’ve posted. SO much. Let’s update:
1. The play went….well. I mean, it didn’t fail. That’s all that matters, I guess.
2. I went out with this guy Kyle. For a month and a half. He is O’C's bff from Williston. We were so alike it was scary, so we broke up Wednesday. I was a little upset for a while….but…it’s okay! We’re still texting and….it’s like nothing happened. Which made me realize how much more we were friends and not a couple. Ohwell.
3. I saw In The Heights….mmmmyyy goodness it was goood!
4. Ahh….that’s enough updating.
Our science expo is Wednesday…and I am not dreadfully behind like I have been, which is good. I’m in science right now actually, and I am doing this because I have nothing to work on exactly. Ms. Rathbun declined my first two ideas, so I basically just did, “How does the mass of fruit change over time?” HAHAHA. I fail at ideas for expo.
As for life now, it’s freaking boring. Except for the fact that I graduate 8th grade in THREE WEEKS. I am sooo excited. I just have to survive science expo, french final, algebra final…and I’M DONE! Off to a better school, and new friends, and (hopefully) hotter guys. (: Ah, I am SO tired of this little school…where everyone knows everything about everyone. I mean, I can promise you on the last day of school I will be sobbing. I mean, on the last day of ART I was crying. and I HATE art. Hahaha. But the lasts are slowly beginning. Last chorus/band concert. Last time I’ll ever work with a certain teacher. And with all these “lasts” quickly coming upon us, I can’t help but be sad. Don’t get me wrong…I’m reallyreally excited like everyone else….but…there is this little part inside of me that is afraid. Not to go somewhere else. Just to leave. All that I’ve known for 9 years…down the drain.
Ugh. Excuse me….I’m such a mess right now. I need to have a heart-to-heart chat with Lucas, Tucker, and O’C. They can never fail at making me feel better. (THOSE THREEE <333).

Anywho.
Maybe I should pretend I'm working.
As Layla would say byeeeeeeeeee ttyl. <3 :)

The One Where Lutz Says I Have Flair

•March 17, 2010 • Leave a Comment

HEY!
So. Today was interesting. In LA, we worked on a pre-planner for some loong essay we have soon. I was pretty much being antisocial, unlike everyone else, which is odd for me. Then in Math I worked with O’C and we ACTUALLY finished our homework. The two most unproductive people in our class! I know, right! Then we talked for a while, despite what Eli (our sub. teacher) said. THEN was the dance performance. Ballroom dancing. We did our thaaang…everyone kept commenting on how amazing I was at foxtrot…? When did this happen! I thought I was good at waltz!!! Oh well. My foxtrot partner is very unexpressive. We were outside after, like a, hour ago, and Lutz and I had an epic conversation about how good I am at expressing myself. In which I burst out in song, (Expressing Yourself–Billy Elliot). Then he said, “Well Emily, it’s a good thing **partner** is there, or else your group would be downright jerky.” I then screamed, “I am steady, smooth, AND HAVE FLAIR.” In which he agreed. I have flair. Then I was like, “I have a lot of flairs on facebook, too!” Lutz-”I have no idea what the hell that means, but it sounds…fun.”

Now I am in the library waiting for my turn to sing with Mrs. Ledoux. One of my previous teachers is to my right on a different computer. (Cher. EWWW) She is the sketch that told us 4th graders about her “woman’s time of the month” and is “Abinaki.” (She decided that she was on her own; it was not born into her family or something.) And hey! You guessed it! SHE IS THE ONLY TEACHER IN MY SCHOOL OVER THE AGE OF 35 THAT IS NOT MARRIED. Go figure.

Anyway….happy St. Patty’s day and such…<3<3<3

Oh, goodness. I took a loong break. Let’s start over!!

Uhm. Hi.

I haven’t updated in a long. Time. Heh. Let’s just not update on the past month and a half, and start a-fresh.

Today, at school, I had classes, (yawn.) We started our reproductive system models in science, and finished our poster in Life Skills about stereotypes of males and females. Then we had play. I worked with Ronnie for a while, which was actually okay. Arles and I had a epic conversation about stairs, and then James showed up for some odd reason. I had just seen him Saturday…yeah. We sang painting the roses red, and then I went home. I scanned photos for yearbook, and then.. OH YEAH. SOMETHING DID HAPPEN TODAY! We were brainstorming themes for graduation. Kazoo came up with, “Life is like food; it’s always better fried.” Cal had “Everyone is special in their own way.” Mine were the best. Of course. Your pick. It’s either a Mexican Fiesta, Jungle Theme, or “Life is like a casino. You never walk out with enough money.” (Vegas theme.) (I’ll put a poll in.)
**Random Tidbit time!!!!**
-My Pandora is embarrassing.
-Layla and I are having weekly walks now. It is amazingly fun and entertaining.
-I am chewing “mystery” Stride gum. I NEED TO KNOW THE FLAVOR. IT IS BUGGING ME.
-I am very, very behind in math.
-(Jazz, can I come to pancake breakfasts with you and Lisa?)
-I love you.

NO LEOPARD PRINT

•January 13, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Hey y’alls!

What’s up? I am in the enrichment room @ school….funfun! I should be working on spectacles, but I am doing this instead. FUN! And helping Cally find a winter ball dress. “NO LEOPARD PRINT.” Heehee. Yesterday I went to a Teen Advisory Board Meeting. I hung out with Jazz, Layla, Bumble, Layla/Bumble’s little sister, Magpie, and other people too. We had pizza and Oreos and talked about books a little bit. Then we made a library facebook, and hung out. It was fun!!! I also got DVDs on high blood pressure, weight loss, menopause, and diabetes. I am undoubtedly excited to watch these. Hehe. *break* Now I am waiting for VYCC to start. I got a cream puff at Mirabelles, thanks Rachel’s dad!!! It’s starting….will finish post laterish. *break* Now it’s Wednesday. I had my rock band thingy, except that Mr. Smith wasn’t here today, so Ms. Rathbun did it. It was okay…I guess. Now I’m looking at summer camps. I am looking at Power Chord Academy. It looks really fun….anyone wanna do it with me? (Besides Jazz. You’re excused. You have…Brown Ledge.) I am now listening to Spring Awakening and waiting for dinner. Eh. Okay. SOMETHING EXCITING NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Last night was American Idol …..fun! I usually don’t watch…but…Paula is GONE. Thank gawds! ANYWAY….off to do non-exciting things…maybe I’ll practice the ballroom dancing I started in gym. All I really remember is Peter yelling at me to twirl…heh. Well, he stepped on my feet, so he fails too.

I am the FOOSEBALL CHAMPION!

•January 10, 2010 • 1 Comment

Howdys!
This week was a good week. I got all my new music for VYCC and normal chorus, and it all sounds really fun, which is good. I went out to dinner a lot, too. Monday I got my winter ball dress , and it should be here soon, ’cause we had to order it online. Buying fancy clothing is one of my favourite things to do, because I don’t get to wear it often. In VYCC Tuesday, Dr. Buettner made this amazing frazzled cat noise that made my day…MEEEOWWWAHH!!! XD. Then Wednesday I started my new exploratory group….eh. It is me, Kazoo, Tyler, Belle’s boyfriend, and lots of other people who aren’t significant in my life at all. I had to play guitar. FAIL. It was….eh 2.0. Oh well. Thursday was piano-ing, saw Jazzerbees. FUN! Then Friddy I was freaking out because I heard about the Cross Country party, and everyone else on the team was going, but not me. I assumed I wasn’t invited, and started crying…heh. But then Jazz talked to me, and it was okay. I ended up going….e-mail mishap. And I won the fooseball tournament. HA. Then I went upstairs with Jazz, Layla, our friend Michael, and his friend. We talked. I love talking with them. It’s fun. My shirt now smells like Michael, and that is so amazing. REALLY. I love it so much. (And I hate this girl who stole Michael’s yummy smelling sweatshirt that smells so darn good. I could kill her. Really. She fails at life. Muahhaha.) We then went downstairs and watched Monty Python’s THE MEANING OF LIFE. It was funny. (“Eeeevery sperrrrm is sacccredddd…”) Today, I went to Advanced Music and got Across the Universe piano music….YAY! We are watching that tomorrow at movie night. YAY. I also got the new Malcolm Gladwell book. I had cod for dinner, and now I am eating an ice cream sandwich and watching Curb Your Enthusiasm with the Seinfeld cast. Win.

Anyway. Life goes on. And I am loving most of it.

Vacation

こんにちは!
How is everyone? I have been so busy in the past month, I have regrettably put this blog off for a month. OH WELL. I AM BACK. All my concerts went well, and I am penpals with Mr. Smith’s daughter….she is eight. And freakishly adorable. And my new BFF. Cam’s girlfriend isn’t going to our school anymore, which is sad. I will miss her…she is such a sweetie! Cam was pretty depressed, but I think he realized he will still see her.
I have had a good break, too. Christmas was fun; I got a limited-edition pink snuggie, which kicks ass, and some new shoes. On Sunday I went into Burlington with Jazzy and Layla. We ran into Olive and some of her friends. The got shirts on sale at Urban Outfitters, and after wrote a freakishly amazing play about Jazz’s 18th birthday party. You can ask to see it, but I may have to turn down your request if you aren’t in it, basically. Or would freak out if you read your part. =). Then Wednesday, I went to another friends house, and we made snowballs and threw them at windows. And video chatted with peoples. Then on New Year’s Eve, I went to first night in Burlington with our friends from Shelburne. We went to showy-thingys, and I ran into Rari and her boyfriend. And I also saw Jordan, too. And Olive. I went back to our friend’s house for a party, and we played hockey then went inside and played Wii. Then we watched Baby Mama until 5 minutes till Midnight, then went upstairs to watch the ball drop. then we went outside and did fireworks in the dead-end road of their neighborhood, and just as the last one went off, the police drove by. I got it on video…it’s attached. Mom and I left after that….and now I am tired and I think I am going to go run on the treadmill now. Don’t expect another post until like, Monday after school, because I can assure you nothing blog-worthy is going to happen in the next three days.

Talk to y’alls soonishly!

Snap Those Fingers!!

•December 1, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Hey!

Today was not very exciting. In stage band, I randomly found my phone on the floor. It must have fallen out of my pocket while I was walking to my seat, but it was funny. Cam had an awesome solo, too. I went to French, and that was UNEVENTFUL, as always. Then was Algebra, where we corrected homework and then worked on INTEGERS. INTEGERS. Mrs. Tierney decided to do a review…**sigh.** Then was Science….Kazoo and I studied while everyone else was being social. We were well-behaved.

Lunch and Recess was…Lunch and Recess. Then Chorus…yawwn. Band Lesson…FUN! LA…yawwn. Social Studies….I played C-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s songs, and Lutz (shockingly) tolerated unless they mentioned Jesus or Santa in any way, shape, or form. (BTW….to anyone who requested a picture of his beard. Both Belle and I requested to take a picture with our phones on seperate occasions. I DID mention Michelle’s name, but he just called it creepy. (Oh well.))

During call-backs, I went to Rathbun to get a study guide, and Belle walked up to me snapping her fingers, and laughing hysterically. Apparently, she was trying to snap without moving her pointer fingers. (We can all do this except for her. HAA.)

Then in VYCC, I went the the vocal coach to work on my solo, and I apparently move a lot when I sing, and while doing that I “collapse my diaphram.” Oh well. I worked hard on it. =-).

Talk to y’alls soon!

All That Jazz

•November 30, 2009 • 1 Comment

Howdy!

Today was good!! I wasn’t made fun of my saxophone embouchure, and we had a new kid today in school. I will wait to see if he is name worthy before giving him a name here. He’s in algebra. Which we did basically nothing in today…(off task much, Mrs. T?) We FINALLY switched tables in French, and I am ahead in Art. Yep. That’s right. AHEAD. That is new in Art for me! Also, our homeroom might go on a field trip to Pizza Putt. W00T!

Also, Social Studies has gotten much more enjoyable. First, Lutz is back. He has a BEARD. Legit beard. It is sorta scary. He looks like a cross between Jesus and a member of the Taliban. No joke. I finally got new partners, and they are really nice. And Mr. Hendricksen works with Tupper, so we get him to help us. I get distracted easily, and we talk about TV. Our project is about Jazz. (No not the person. The music genre.) Jazz in the 1920s, to be exact. It’s going to be awesome!

Then I put my famous orange sweater on, and it smelled like wine because of old grapes that were in my locker…eww.

I got a flu shot, too. I already had H1N1, but normal flu was today. My arm hurts.

Oh, well.

I might post a very short one tomorrow, as I have VYCC.

Oopsy Daisy!!

I haven’t posted in about a month. Heh. Every time I was going to, I decided I would do it the next day. Well, better late than never!
UPDATES:
I am the Queen of Hearts in the school play, and Zet is Alice. I am happy with this, because we both deserve the parts we got.
I have a solo in the VYCC concert…and I am very excited about this. Very excited.
I have had a gawd awful cold for the past few weeks…it is finally dying down.
I got my hair darkened back to it’s original color.
Yeah.

The long weekend was okay. I guess.
My cousins are nice, but Peter is def. the nicer one. Abby basically read her book the whole time. Let me add that it was one of the most idiotic books in the history of books, too. It was made into a movie…”I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell.” Catchy title, I suppose. My whole family except for Mother, Father, and I is convinced that Peter has ADHD. If he does, then so do I, and all of my friends. **sigh.** My family is pretty messed up, I guess.

I saw New Moon the second day it came out with all my 8th grade friends, and it was sort of interesting. The audience was very into it…HAA. Today I also saw The Blind Side….LOVED IT. I would highly recommend it.

I am really excited for the holiday season, as I am every year. We have this peace-sign-light-thingy that we put on the side of the house, and we did that today. I am going to string lights in my room again, and we get our Christmas tree soon….hopefully. I hope my mum’s friend Bernie is coming for Christmas, and I really need new sneakers. School has become uneventful again, and boring. Ask me about my saxophone story in person though….I’d rather not type it out here.

Oh well.
Jazz has been in a much better mood from what I can tell lately, along with Zsa. I think C is good for her. I miss a few people that I need to get together with. Soon. Heehee.

I am going to try to update this more often now…=).
Talk to y’alls soonishly!
